When you step through the stained mahogany doors of this new custom home, you immediately gain a sense of calm. Phil Hughes, owner and manager of PR Hughes, met with first time homeowners when their lot was purchased. He helped design a plan that would create a center city oasis just minutes from uptown Charlotte. He called in a plan designer and interior designer to help complete the luxury custom home plan. First priority was a spacious first floor to include a large gourmet kitchen open to the family and breakfast room; living and dining room; center hall and generous butler’s pantry. Because entertaining friends and family was also a priority, the home includes a quad sliding door connecting the family room to an outdoor covered porch with fireplace, a pool and grill station. An additional bonus is a two and a half car detached garage that houses the owners exercise studio above. Now that the home is complete, the entire property is enclosed with extensive landscaping and fencing with a motorized gate to ensure privacy and security.
