Why did you form P.R. Hughes LLC?
After 12 years as C.O.O. of Charlotte’s largest luxury home builder, I look forward to building a company where I am able to have direct contact with each customer. Building a solid working relationship between the customer and the builder is essential. True customer satisfaction comes from giving each customer the personal attention and service they deserve throughout the entire process, from plan development to completion of the project and beyond. Our goal is to make the new home building or remodeling process a pleasant one.

I have a broad range of professional experience in building. I completed a B.S. in Building Science from Auburn University under the school of Architecture, Design, and Construction in 1990, while working as field engineer in training on two large commercial government buildings.
In 1990 I went to work for Charlotte’s largest production home builder. I gained experience as a field manager, custom home builder, area manager and then production manager before joining Charlotte’s largest luxury home builder in 1997. During the 12 years I resided as C.O.O., I gained expertise in managing land development, custom homes, renovations, purchasing, estimating, and warranty service.
I also hold an unlimited building license in North Carolina and South Carolina, enabling P.R. Hughes to build any size project of any dollar amount.
